Chris Brown Gallery
Chris Brown, local photographer and resident, shares his story of a new appreciation of Boulder's Open Space & Mountain Parks. We invite you to enjoy his pictures.
Chris Brown writes:
I was asked to produce a portfolio of prints of Boulder's Open Space & Mountain Parks. This was a special opportunity to photograph in my backyard, which I have enjoyed looking at but never photographed during my 35 years here. This encouragement gave me the time to depart the studio and visit the incredible beauties that are no more than 10 minutes away from everyone in Boulder.
Of course, the Flatirons are spectacular, and there is no shortage of nice paintings and photographs of them. My goal was to take a second look at this landscape, and I was surprised by how much there is to see. My affection for this land has grown with each trip up the trail, and I hope these prints will deepen your sense of awe for this wonderful treasure that we have all made possible.”
