Michael Shawn Latiolais


Michael Shawn Latiolais (DOB 09/07/1962) was arrested in November 2011 in Georgia by local law enforcement officials and FBI agents.  Latiolais was wanted for the armed robberies of the Boulder Valley Credit Union (02/28/2011) and a Circle K convenience store (03/01/2011). He was positively identified as the suspect in both robberies and faces two felony charges of Aggravated Robbery. Witnesses told police that Latiolais produced notes demanding cash and claimed to possess a gun, though none of the victims ever saw a gun. Thayne Smika

Thayne Smika (DOB 02/27/1959) is 5'11" tall, weighs 150 pounds and has brown hair and hazel eyes. He is wanted for the 1983 murder of Sid Wells, a 22-year-old University of Colorado student. Wells had been shot execution-style in the back of the head, in his Spanish Towers apartment. Smika was Wells' roommate at the time and disappeared in 1986, when he was 24-years-old. The case received national attention because Wells was dating Shauna Redford, the daughter of actor Robert Redford, at the time of Wells' death. Smika faces a charge of First Degree Murder in Boulder. Police believe Smika may be hiding in California or Mexico. Juan Ramon Gonzalez-Marquez

Juan Ramon Gonzalez-Marquez (DOB 01/10/1971) is 6’0” tall, weighs 170 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. He is wanted for Unlawful Sexual Contact with Force (a felony), Unlawful Sexual Contact and Identity Theft (a felony). He was an employee of the Original Pancake House in Boulder and is wanted in connection with several incidents there involving a female employee. Ricardo Solis-Garcia

Ricardo Solis-Garcia (DOB 10/22/1973) is of Hispanic descent and is 5'9" tall, weighs 154 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. He is a suspect in a sexual assault that took place in February 2010. The female victim told police that Solis-Garcia was a casual acquaintance and a mutual friend had allowed both she and Solis-Garcia to stay overnight. The victim was in a bedroom and Solis-Garcia was asked to sleep on the living room couch. The victim says she awoke to find Solis-Garcia having sex with her and that she repeatedly told him to stop, but he continued. The victim’s allegations have been substantiated and police are searching for Solis-Garcia, who faces two counts of Felony Sexual Assault. He has been known to use the names Ricardo Solis, Lalo Solis and has gone by the nickname “Rigo.” Investigators believe Solis-Garcia may be in Mexico. Lynn Katoa

 Kotoa (DOB 05/16/1989) is described as 6’2” tall and weighs 220 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He is wanted by Boulder police for two counts of Second Degree Assault, two counts of Third Degree Assault, Criminal Mischief and one count of False Reporting to Authorities. These charges stem from an incident that took place on January 9, 2011 in which a rock was thrown through the window of an apartment at 20th and Broadway. Several occupants of the apartment confronted the man they suspected of throwing the rock, and there was an altercation. The suspect has been identified as Lynn Katoa. Witnesses say Katoa punched one female occupant in the jaw and assaulted three men who tried to help her. Katoa has not been seen in Boulder recently and it’s believed that he may be hiding in the Denver area. He has family in various locations across the country. Jawad Khouir

Jawad Khouir, DOB 3/15/1981 is wanted on a warrant for failing to appear at his sentencing for his convictions on charges of Sexual Assault, Felony Menacing plus several other charges. Khouir also goes by the name “Jawad Chafik.” He’s a white male, 5’05” tall, weighs 140 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. He is a citizen of Morocco. His last known address was in Boulder, CO. His present whereabouts are unknown.

John Paul Quinn

On July 9, 2011, at 8:30 a.m., the victim rode his bike to the Boulder Public Library (1001 Arapahoe) where he attended an outdoor tai chi class. He left the bike unlocked, leaning against the side of the building and was a short distance away during the class. At 9:30 am, when the victim returned to where he parked his bike, it was missing. The bike was later sold at ReBay ReSeller (4455 North Broadway) by John Paul Quinn (DOB 2/4/1991) at 10:10 a.m. Quinn claimed that he had owned the bike for two and a half years. Carlos Torres-Castruita

Carlos Torres-Castruita (DOB 9/24/1989) is wanted in connection with 11 residential burglaries that occurred in Boulder between 2008 and 2009. He is a Hispanic male, 5'4" tall and weighs 140 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. Torres-Castruita had been using a fictitious name (David Custer), date of birth and social security number while working at a Boulder restaurant. Torres-Castruita may have fled to his native country of Mexico to avoid arrest.  He does have family living in Boulder, and there are multiple case numbers associated with him. Eduardo “Spooky” Galvez-Conchas

Eduardo Galvez-Conchas is wanted on suspicion of Criminal Attempt to Commit Murder in the First Degree and Assault in the First Degree, in connection with a stabbing that took place on May 20, 2006 in the 1800 block of Canyon Blvd. The victim was a 22-year-old Boulder resident who suffered from multiple stab wounds to the chest, neck, arm, head and back. At the time, Galvez-Conchas was 17 years old. His DOB is 2/14/1989. He is described as Hispanic, with black hair and brown eyes, 5’09” tall and weighing 160 pounds at the time of the stabbing. His whereabouts are unknown, but he has family ties to the Boulder area. Anyone with information about him is asked to contact Detective Colleen Wilcox at 303-441-4483. The case number is 06-7116.
